The latter is a decorative glass born in the regions of Bohemia and Silesia (currently the Czech Republic) in the thirteenth century, when some monks in their monasteries in the countryside of these regions, particularly rich in potassium and quartz essential for the production of glass, began to blow objects and dishes for daily use with the help of a rod.
