About Us

For the production of our jewels we mainly use Italian leather, silver and ” Zamak ” metal alloy : these materials represent the main essence of our creations. We also use Murano glass, Italian ceramics, resins, Swarovski crystals and Preziosa glass.
Murano glass jewels are created by Murano glass masters, who use an ancient production technique, prior to blowing, called Murrina. This technique, dating back to the Alexandrian and Roman age, was rediscovered in the nineteenth century, after almost two thousand years of inactivity; made exclusively on the island of Murano, it makes each object a precious work of art, unique and unrepeatable.
We also use traditional Italian ceramics and work them manually in our workshops, while we rely on Umbrian artisans to produce the beautiful fuseruole. The latter are painted and handcrafted ceramic miniatures.
During the Middle Ages, precisely in Umbria, spindles were used during spinning to balance the spindle, allowing the yarn to be more taut and thus obtaining uniform work. Later, they began to be used to decorate and embellish the corners of tablecloths, fabrics, embroidery and curtains. Traditionally, they represent an ancient gift of love to women. In fact, the fuseruole were hand painted with decorative motifs, names and love phrases, which celebrated the virtues and qualities of the beloved woman.
As for the crystals, we use glass crystal and Swarovski crystal. The latter is a decorative glass born in Bohemia and Silesia (currently the Czech Republic) in the thirteenth century, when some monks in the monasteries located in the countryside of these regions, particularly rich in potassium and quartz, essential for the production of glass, began to blow everyday objects and dishes with the help of a rod. The unique characteristics of this type of crystal, including the exceptional transparency, luster and resistance, make each jewel made with this type of refined and precious material.
